Windows Terminal is an open-source project, previously introduced on GitHub and now a dedicated version for Windows 10. This program acts as an all-in-one central application for users to access and execute the cmd command, PowerShell command and the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) system to run the Linux command line window on Windows.

In this Preview version, to edit all options in the Windows Terminal application , you will have to edit a JSON file. The App provides a guide on how to edit the JSON file as well as how to change the background image of the Terminal command line window if desired.
