Zoho Office Suite
Zoho Office is a small flexible collection of modules, it only takes two seconds to start the text editor (Writer) and spreadsheet (Sheet). It has a number of extended features: Projects (project management software), Show (slideshows), Virtual Office (groupware with calendar, e-mail client, and more), Creator (program) Database manager) and Planner (organizer for reminders and notes).
Zoho Write performs the conversion of the basic elements you need every day very well: checking spelling, aligning paragraphs, creating dots or characters, leading to each paragraph, controlling the font (size text, type, color). However, beyond those basic functions, it does nothing more. It's not as feature-rich as in Word or ThinkFree: the spell checker will underline errors encountered but you can't right-click and find the correct phrase in a list.

There are also a number of other highlights: Zoho Write has a number of template templates available, from student ID codes to drug applications but not arranged in a certain order. You can also record some private text as a style sheet. Zoho Write can compare two different versions of a text (like the current text and an earlier version of it), but like Google, it only emphasizes the differences. Zoho Write does not use colors that are too impressive for the removal of certain words or paragraphs.
While most other components often explain their usability right from the start of working with a text editor, the support in Zoho Write is weak. For example, there is an "Insert Anchor" component but we cannot find an explanation of how it works.
You can add a table with just a click of a button, then click inside the cell to format it (such as changing the border, color, density / net, or selecting a background color, overlaying cells) or selecting a label. "Table" from the Format dialog box to set a cell border. Zoho Write outperforms Google Docs's formatting components with more fonts, more sizes, plus the ability to find and replace easily.
Like Google and ThinkFree, if you want to share your text, you can send invitations to others (of course they will need to have their own online accounts). The program also gives you a script if you want to insert your text on a website or in a blog.
Everything is stored by default in the 1GB online library, at no charge. You can save files as Word, PDF, text, HTML, SXW (StarOffice). But when running Zoho Write in Internet Explorer 6, there are often problems such as frequent conflicts. This program is better compatible with Firefox 2.0.
Zoho Sheet will get congested if you try to open a large worksheet (about 500 rows with a few columns, for example). It supports simple SUM sum formulas with four-digit numbers, but no graphs and graphics. A worksheet with 350 rows and 70 columns can be opened but after… 90 seconds wait. The screen refresh rate is very slow. When working with a new worksheet, make an addition to a column of 10 values, the response is very . lethargic.

Zoho Write doesn't have some of the things we are familiar with and like: columns, bars, lines, and pie charts (both 2D and 3D) that are easy to create. They are not very attractive, but are almost suitable for all of us when you simply want to illustrate a numerical data. You can't get to work with countless Office graphing functions. Some oddities of Zoho Sheet: when opening a new worksheet, you are placed in cell C3 by default, not A1 like in other programs.
Zoho also provides an additional component integrated in Office. You can edit Zoho files directly from within Excel or Word.
It is not a perfect kit. Some advanced features, such as using wild cards (wildcard characters) in search and replace operations, are not supported. So are the conditional formats in Sheet. But even so, if your editing needs to end with 5% of Office components, most of us will use Zoho.
