Instructions for use and tips for Blogger for iOS:

Create a new blog:

To start using the blog with Blogger, visit the Blogger homepage, enter your username and password, then click login. Enter a display name and accept the Blogger terms of service. Then click the link to create a new blog and start customizing.

Choose a URL and blog title. Select the blog template template that you like (this is what the blog will look like later). Get creative by adding information to your user profile, customizing your blog form more deeply from existing templates and starting to experience the service.

Dashboard:

The control panel is the first place you experience opening the Blogger app. Here, the entire personal blog will be listed. You can click the icons next to the blog to manipulate, such as:

• Write a new blog: click the orange pencil icon on the control panel to access the content editor.
• View individual posts: a gray post book icon will lead users to the shared post list or save a draft for each specific blog.
• Subscribe to your favorite blog: below your blog list will be a list of blogs you follow along with the posts they shared most recently.
• Explore the drop-down menu next to the post list icon for quick links to items: overview, post list, blog page, comments, statistics, earnings, layout, template, settings.Note that the earnings tab only shows when AdSense supports your language.

Tags Overview:

On the Overview tab, you can view interactive activities on your blog, news and tips from the Blogger team as well as the latest blog notes.

Write a share:

After logging in to the Blogger service, you will see a dashboard with a list of blogs attached.

• Click the orange pencil icon to write a new post, enter everything you want to share with the world.
• Then go to the Post Editor page, ask the user to select an arbitrary title and revisit the post.
• Once finished, press the Preview button at the top to preview the content before deciding to share, click the Publish button to post.

More photos:

You can add locally stored images to your personal blog. Click the image icon in the Post Editor toolbar. A window will appear for you to browse images from the multimedia library system, or enter the image path from the web.

After selecting an image, choose a layout to determine where the image appears on that post. The left, middle and right options allow you to customize the layout of your blog compared to images. The image size option helps determine the size of the image that will appear in the article.

Click Upload Images to add photos, then Done when the message window indicates that the image has been successfully added to the blog. Blogger will then bring you back to the post editing page, from here you will see your photo appear with the article.

Users can also post photos to the blog via mobile devices, free photo sharing software Picasa or 3rd party services such as Flickr.

Add videos:

To add videos to your blog, click the filmstrip icon on the Post Editor toolbar above where you compose a new post. A window will appear asking to add videos to the new blog post.

Click Browse to select the video file stored in the device. Note that Blogger only accepts AVI, MPEG, QuickTime, Real and Windows Media files, and the video must be smaller than 100 MB.

Before uploading a video, add a title to the Video Title box and accept the terms of service (you only have to do it once for Blogger first uploads). Then press upload video.

While the video is uploaded, you will see a placeholder in the post editing section, which is where the video will appear in the blog. You will also see a status message below the post editing section, allowing progress on video uploads. Depending on the size of the uploaded video, this process may take about 5 minutes. When completed, the video will appear in the post editor window.

Customization:

Templates are a fun way to customize your blog. When creating a new blog, you will be asked to choose a default template, which is the basic design for a personal blog. However, you can choose many other templates for your blog by choosing the most appropriate template.

Discover template:

On the template tab, you can click the orange Customize button to start familiarizing yourself with Blogger's easy-to-use WYSIWYG template designer ('What you see is what you get'), or choose one of the many default templates. If you want to edit the blog HTML, click the gray Edit HTML button.

Besides, Blogger users can customize the design of their personal blog with an intuitive drag and drop interface. Allow adding other powerful content such as photo slide show, multiple choice questions for users or even AdSense ads. If you want to edit your blog layout more accurately, try the Edit HTML feature.

• Click Layout from the drop-down menu on the control panel below the blog you want to customize.
• Click Edit to edit the existing content, or Add a Gadget to add new content.Click the plus icon next to favorite content.You can select content by category or search for specific objects in the top right window.
• After adding the necessary information to the selected content, press the orange save button.Layout changes will appear immediately.
