Box Backup is the only tool in this group that not only supports fully automated tasks, but also allows encryption to ensure safe backups. Box Backup uses SSL authentication to grant access to clients, so that connections are secured. Although this is a solution that does not support the graphical interface, the configuration and deployment are simple. Data can be stored on the 'cloud'. There are 3 components to install: bbstored (on the server), bbackupd (on the client), and bbackupquery (backup and restore manipulation tool)

Box Backup supports Linux, OpenBSD, Windows (Native only), NetBSD, FreeBSD, Darwin (OS X), and Solaris.
