Introduction to the VR Merge Cube device

Merge Cube is the latest augmented reality (AR) device from Merge, a company that makes VR (Virtual Reality) and AR accessories. This device is a porous cube that converts into an AR device when you turn on a compatible application and view content through a smartphone or Merge VR headset. Although Merge Cube is currently only available in the US and UK, it has received many positive reviews for its vivid AR experience.

How to use the DinoDigger app in phone mode (Without VR / AR glasses)

• Launch the Dino Digger application .
• Allows the app to access the phone camera and photo album.
• Select Mobile / Phone Mode.
• Make sure you can see the Merge Cube through your phone camera.
• Hold the device in one hand and hold the cube in the other or place it on the included stand.
• Use the buttons on the screen to explore the planet, dig for dinosaur fossils and see your collection.

How to use the DinoDigger application in VR mode (with VR / AR glasses)

• Launch the Dino Digger application .
• Allows the app to access the phone camera and photo album.
• Select VR / Merge Mode.
• Put your smartphone into the VR / AR glasses.
• Make sure you can see the cube through the device screen.
• Use the buttons on the screen to explore the earth, dig for dinosaur fossils and see your collection.
