GtkOrphan is a Perl / Gtk2 graphical tool that works with Deborphan to scan the Debian system in search of redundant libraries. This program can analyze installation status and add the ability to remove application packages.

Basically, this tool can independently track libraries. However, be careful when using this application because it is not 'generous'. You may accidentally remove some libraries that are necessary to you.

In theory, a Debian system is like Ubuntu when it can fix itself at boot time, capturing the missing dependencies. However, the theory is often not entirely true in practice. So, if you accidentally pulled out the necessary dependencies, you can still get them back in a Terminal window.
