PicCrypt 0.3

PicCrypt is a free tool that lets you compress, 'attach' to any file using the zLib File compression library (zLib File Compression Library) and then close that file into a 24-bit image file.

This is great if you want to encrypt your data before moving it over to XOR (bit manipulation). The program is portable so no installation is required.

To select the file you need to encode, click the Choose file button in the Convert To section and then navigate to the path containing the file you want. You can drag the slider to the left to get the image file resolution as desired. To increase security, you can type the password in the box.

A dialog box appears, asking you to name and specify the location of the .BMP extension image file encoded with the file you attached.

In the Process box in the program's window, you will see a Conversion Completed message.

The image file containing the attached file will only have a very small line and size (this depends on the size of the attached file). Now you can share this image file with your friends and family through file sharing services like mediafire.com, upload.com . even photo sharing services like imageshack.us, photobucket. com .

The recipient will use the PicCrypt program to decrypt it to receive an attachment in the image file in the Convert Back section after entering the password you provided when encrypting the above file.
