Syncovery is a great application used to back up data and synchronize computers, servers, and notebooks.

You can set up as many different operations as you need and run them manually or use the Scheduler tool to schedule. Syncovery works with hard drives, network drives, and any external drives. In addition, it comes with support for FTP, SSH, HTTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3 and Google Docs. You can use data encryption and ZIP compression mode. On the Windows operating system, the Scheduler scheduler toolkit can run as a service without requiring users to log in. Main feature:

• Synchronize or back up files and complete folder structures in different locations like PC, Mac, laptop or online storage. There are no restrictions on file size, number of files or filename lengths. The program fully supports Unicode characters so that it can copy file names in all languages.

• Each sync operation is saved as a configuration so you only need to specify the settings once. You can run multiple profiles with just one click. You can also run profiles from the command line. • Detect files being moved: If you rearrange your directory by moving them to different locations. Syncovery will detect this and quickly proceed with the same moves, rather than deleting and copying the file.

• SmartTracking mode: This operating mode has been designed to promote two-way synchronization. It stores a database of all files so that it can detect file deletion. • Copy locked files: If some files cannot be copied because other software is accessing these files, Volume Shadowing can be used on Windows XP to copy these files. If the files cannot be copied, the synchronization tool will continue to copy the remaining files and then retry all deleted files until they can be copied. You can specify a time limit on each retry. On Macintosh and Linux operating systems, locked files can be copied because the normal operating system does not work as strongly as Windows.

• Versioning: This feature allows you to keep multiple old versions of each file in backup mode. There are many types of naming available.

• Block-level copy: This feature only copies part of the modified file to speed up synchronization.

• Safe database mode : This mode has exclusive access to the files to be copied. If exclusive access is not possible, then Volume Shadowing will be used or the program will wait until you have exclusive access.

• Use the recycle bin for older versions of files to be overwritten as well as the deleted files. This will give you the opportunity to recover overwritten or deleted files. By default, the recycle bin is used for deletion, but not for update files. These settings may be changed in the profile.

• Filter files: There are many different ways to select / re-select files and folders.

• Time Zone: Due to the use of UTC / World Time, candles have very few problems related to the time difference. However, if you find your files have a time difference of about 1 hour, the program can be set to ignore that and consider the files the same as long as the file size is the same and the file size is the same. • Restoring an entire drive is easy: You simply want to make more space and ask the software to continue copying. It can stop copying until there is free space.

• Obsolete files and folders: If you occasionally have to move obsolete files to a specially designed directory, this often causes problems with traditional file synchronization tools. They will copy obsolete files from other computers to the directory where you moved them. This will be overcome if you use the Selected Folders option, you can determine the directory for obsolete files by right clicking. These directories will then be considered for moving files in but not for copying.
