Xpy - Change the hidden settings of Windows XP

In Windows, you can change some of its settings to preserve and optimize the computer, but most of the changes require deep intervention into the system, which is extremely dangerous because every Improper changes may render the computer inoperable. Therefore, to change the settings more safely, you can use Xpy program, both fast, easy, and has the function of restoring to the original state before the change when something goes wrong.

After downloading, you decompress to a directory and run the program without installation.

The program includes 7 types of settings that you can change, you can choose from the presets in the list box such as: No settings (cancel all changes), XP Antispy settings (change the All possible settings (change the settings needed to prevent spyware, optimize the computer and the internet) or All settings (change all settings). Alternatively, you can change it manually by clicking the plus or minus signs to open or close the list of sub-settings, to change which setting, click on it, if you want to change an entire type then Click on that category. Services : Change the settings of Windows server, including Disable Error-Reporting (disable error server), Disable Time Synchronization (disable online time synchronization function), Disable Messenger Service (turn off Windows Messenger server), Disable Remote Registry Service (disable remote registry control).

Internet Explorer: Includes some typical settings such as Disable Automatic Updates (turn off the automatic update function), Disable Alexa logging (remove Alexa key from the registry).

Windows Media Player: You can change some settings for system security such as Disable Metadata Retrieval (turn off the online data retrieval function), Disable Usage Tracking (turn off the function of sending data to Microsoft).

Windows Messenger: There are only 2 settings and you can change such as Remove Messenger from Outlook Express (turn off Messenger when running Outlook Express), Uninstall Windows Messenger (remove and not restore Windows Messenger).

Usability: Includes some interface settings such as Disable Diskspace Warning (turn off the disk space warning box is low), Show all file extensions (show the file extensions in full), Disable Thumbnail Caching (remove images cache) thumbnail image).

Delete Files: Settings for removing some icons on the desktop or shortcuts in the Start menu.

Note: because of the safety and convenience of use, the program will save any changes that you have made. Therefore, after you have changed the settings and run the program again, it will display a notice so you can restore the changes (Restore) or keep (Standard) if necessary.
