Growl for Windows is a system notification program that helps people monitor the startup process of applications on the computer. This tool acts as the notification center of the device.

After the Mac version, Growl has arrived on PC, giving users a new experience of a tool to manage running programs. Instructions for using Growl

General button: On / Off - Allow to enable or disable Growl, Automatically start Growl at login - Automatically run the program when starting the computer, Sound Settings - Display sound notifications, Idle Settings - Set of notifications missed when not using the computer. If you want to disable this function, click Never consider me idle or away.

Application button: To configure an application, click its name in the left pane. A list of all types of notifications for registered apps to be sent will be displayed in the center window. Each notification type can be individually configured or the option of All notifications allows you to set up all notifications related to an application without having to install them individually. Application includes Enabled, Display, Duration, Sticky, Forwarding, Priority and Sound features.

Display Button: Growl supports many types of displays. Users can customize by selecting the left frame and change the parameters as you like. However, not all types of user displays can be edited.

Network button: Growl provides two different ways to share notifications. Select Forward notifications to other computers ( Subscribe to notifications from other computers ) or Subscribe to notifications from other computers (Sign up to receive notifications from other computers).

Security: Require password for local apps , Allow network notifications (Allow shared notifications ), Allow notifications from websites (Allow websites to send notifications), Allow clients to subscribe to notifications (Allow other computers to subscribe to notifications ).

History button: Fiter (Filter notifications), Group By (Group by notification date or notification app name), Number of Days (Number of days to display notifications), Clear (Delete all notifications).
