Meerkat for iOS

Meerkat for iOS is a new and exclusive social network on the iOS platform, allowing users to share videos online and have a strong spread from their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Specifically, Meerkat allows streaming videos directly from your smartphone to people following Twitter at the same time. Click Stream and the video will be played instantly on the new feed of your Twitter followers.

If your Twitter followers also install Meerkat on your computer, they will receive a push notification saying a video has just been shared from you. Users can watch, play, comment and interact with videos right on this Meerkat app !

The rules of Meerkat:

• Everything on Meerkat is on Twitter.
• Video streaming will be pushed to your Twitter followers in real time via push notifications.
• Recipients can only watch videos online without being able to review or download them.
• You can save videos to your phone, but the Meerkat service does not store this data.
• Viewers can reshare any video to their followers in real time.
• Everyone can watch videos on the web.
• Please share civilized and healthy videos in the Meerkat community.

Meerkat only works on iOS 8 and above, supports all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch generations. Optimized for iPhone 4 and up.
